A year on since the Parsi Hill inauguration – the bond between the 2 communities gets stronger and stronger.
Zoroastrians of Birmingham are organising a Jashan and Pateti (Parsi New Year) celebrations on Saturday 13th September 2014 at 4.00 p.m. at the Community Hall on the Balaji Temple site.
This function is a fitting opportunity to celebrate the first anniversary of the unveiling of the Tata steel Farohar on the Zoroastrian Parsi Hill.
There will be a traditional prayer ceremony called the JASHAN. It is a prayer of Thanksgiving and will be performed by our Head Priest of the UK and Europe, ERVAD RUSI BHEDWAR. He will be assisted by ERVAD JIMMY MADON.

Mini Pochkhanawalla and Zoroastrian Friends of the Balaji Temple
The ZTFE has been celebrating Shahenshai Navroze in London since 1906. Monday 18th August 2014 was its 108th year. The evening kicked off at 5.30pm with a Jashan ceremony in the Zartoshty Brothers Hall to bring in the New Year 1384YZ, followed by a Maatchi ceremony in the Setayash Geh.
