Parsi Hill UK are a group of enthusiastic Parsi loving events managers that have been commissioned to manage the whole process of the Zoroastrian Faith Hill at the Balaji Temple. The Balaji temple complex includes seven Faith hills created to represent seven major faiths in the United Kingdom. On 3 June 2013, we have been commissioned by Dr N Rao (Chairman of the Trustees) to commence work on the Zoroastrian Hill inauguration.
On Saturday 28th September 2013, the Zoroastrian Faith Hill which is located on the Temple site will be inaugurated with a traditional ceremony, a programme of raising awareness of key Zoroastrian (Parsi) people that have impacted both the UK and India. The fun packed day will include food and a whole lot of fun activities.
So far the Temple has inaugurated the Buddhist and the Christian Hill. For the Buddhist Faith Hill, a Lord Buddha’s statue, carved by a local sculptor, was installed on one of the hills in May 2001. The faith hill representing Christianity bears a plaque with an inscription “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and love your neighbour as yourself” which was opened by the archbishop of Canterbury The most rev’d & Rt.Hon. Dr. Rowan Williams when he visited this temple on 15 May 2008.
