Long term & legacy

If you are interested in sponsoring this momentous event – please contact us.

Currently we want sponsorship for the following:

A STATUE

Our ambition is to erect a statue measuring 8 feet wide of the Faravahar. is one of the best-known symbols of Zoroastrianism. The guardian angel symbol is said to be a reminder of one’s purpose in life, which is to live in such a way that the soul progresses towards frasho-kereti, or union with God. We feel that this small statue situated at the top of the hill (ideally made from TATA steel) will add value and become part and parcel of the beautiful landscape of the Balaji Temple.

OUR VISION; The Faravahar placed on a plinth made from TATA steel

We also want the Zoroastrian phrase of Humata, Hukhta, Havarshta to be scribed either on the plinth or on a separate plaque to be placed on the Hill. This phrase sums up a Zoroastrian’s morality, it simply means “good thoughts, good words, good deeds”.

FOOD AND AMENITIES

We also want sponsorship so that we can enjoy Parsi food throughout the day. We also envisage on having stalls selling memorabilia of the day.

VIDEOGRAPHY

So that the inauguration can be captured and remembered – we will make a 30 minutes documentary which will show the ceremony, the cultural programme and tributes.

PUBLICITY

Leaflets, T Shirts and badges will provide visitors with merchandise that they can cherish. All items will bear the sponsors name.

These components will ensure that the legacy and friendship between Hindus and Zoroastrians is capsulated for generations to see.
